Hi, I’m Wes with Weddings by Wes & Monica and I just wanted to share what we discovered when we went looking around Indianapolis, Indiana for wedding venues we could work with. I have never really been a fan of barn venues until we stumbled across “The Parcel” in New Castle, Indiana and owner Darius Burke. Monica and I fell in love at first sight! The barns we have worked in have all been unfinished without heat for the late season wedding or air conditioning for those very hot summer days. This is definitely a Premier Wedding Venue!

Darius and his wife used all the lessons learned planning their wedding in 2016. You can tell a lot of thought went into the planning and construction of this venue. Although it is suitable for any event rental, they prefer weddings over anything else. Like Monica and I, they have a passion for weddings. On this site I’m going to try and explain what we found but there is nothing better than booking a tour and seeing for yourself.

The Parcel is a beautiful wedding venue in New Castle, IN, for weddings and big celebrations with rustic charm. Setup and cleanup will also be provided to make sure you have plenty of time to savor your sweet moment. In addition, outside vendors are welcome, allowing you to celebrate your special day your way.

“The Parcel” is broken down into 3 private ares, with the main event building being 3,600 square feet that is well insulated with central heat and air. The bride can basque in the luxury of the 1,200 square feet private bridal suite and Cocktail hour will be held in the Tea Room which is 2,600 square feet with a bar and commercial kitchen.

More Than Just a Barn Venue!

In conclusion, they didn’t miss a thing when building their wedding venue! No matter how hard I tried to find something they missed, it just wasn’t there. “The Parcel” won me over to barn weddings. The grounds are beautiful and Darius does a great job taking care of them. Yes, there was evidence that seed was planted to enhance the landscape but that will grow in the Spring of 2024 and be beautiful. You just couldn’t ask for a more perfect place to tie the knot.
